Single Bikers is an informational website. It does not operate dating accounts, member profiles, private messages or payment processing.
The site is operated by an individual using the public site identity Single Bikers. No business entity is represented in the current project record. The operator has chosen not to publish a legal name or postal address. Qualified legal review must determine whether additional operator or notice details are required for the countries in which the site is made available; the public contact route is not a substitute where the law requires more.
Information the site is designed not to collect
The rebuilt site does not require a visitor account and is designed without a member database. It should not ask for:
- dating-profile information;
- private messages or photographs for a member account;
- passwords for a third-party dating service;
- payment-card or banking details;
- government identification;
- precise location for matching;
- sensitive relationship or sexual-preference data.
Do not submit this information by email or through any future contact feature.
Information processed when pages are requested
Like other websites, hosting and security systems may process technical request data needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Depending on the final configuration, this can include an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser or device information and referral information.
The current Nginx configuration writes access and error logs for the production site and protected preview. The access-log format can include the requesting IP address. A server log-rotation rule runs daily and retains 30 rotated files, with compression after the first rotation. This is approximately a 30-day rolling history, subject to file timing and operational exceptions.
The release target is to minimise retained data and avoid browser fingerprinting. Any change to log fields, retention, security services or analytics must be reflected here before publication.
Analytics
The current project configuration does not use cookie-based analytics. Aggregate search-performance reports and privacy-oriented traffic measurement may be used to understand page visits, search visibility, broken pages and general site performance.
The site must not add analytics cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site profiling or browser fingerprinting without first revising this policy and implementing any notice or consent mechanism required for the affected visitors.
Affiliate-link events
Some outbound links may be compensated affiliate links. A qualifying link must require an intentional click and may pass the existing domain Tracking ID to the designated third-party product.
The controlled affiliate handoff is active on the production site and requires an intentional click. Local click-event logging is currently disabled. The handoff does not add dating preferences, contact details or other sensitive information to the destination link. Affiliate reporting remains aggregated at the domain level.
After leaving Single Bikers, the destination provider processes information under its own privacy policy. Single Bikers does not control the provider's account, registration, payment or tracking practices.
Contact information
Visitors may email contact@single-bikers.com for corrections, privacy questions, rights concerns and commercial-disclosure questions. A message can include the sender's address, name, subject, content, attachments and delivery metadata. Do not send passwords, payment details, identification documents, intimate material or another person's sensitive information.
Cloudflare Email Routing receives mail for the domain and forwards it to a verified Google Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google may process the message and delivery metadata under their respective terms and privacy information. Single Bikers uses a message to review the request, reply when appropriate, protect the site and keep any record reasonably needed for a correction, rights issue or legal obligation. Messages should be deleted when they are no longer needed for those purposes.
There is no website contact form, local mailbox database or VPS mail server. A normal reply may be sent from the destination editorial mailbox rather than from the public domain address.
Cookies and local storage
The target build does not require analytics or advertising cookies. Essential technical storage may be introduced only when a documented feature needs it, such as security or a user-requested preference. Any such use must be inventoried and this section updated before release.
Third-party sites reached through an outbound link may use their own cookies or storage. Review the destination's notice before registering or paying.
Sharing and service providers
Technical request data may be processed by the VPS hosting provider and by services used for DNS, transport security or delivery. The current confirmed service inventory includes Cloudflare authoritative DNS and Email Routing, Google Gmail as the verified destination mailbox, and the VPS hosting environment serving Nginx. Whether Cloudflare proxies production web traffic must be rechecked during the final release audit rather than assumed from its DNS role. Minimal affiliate-link information may be processed by the designated affiliate provider only after an intentional click and separate activation.
The final provider functions, processing locations and any required international-transfer safeguards have not been fully confirmed. They remain part of deployment and qualified legal review before this policy is approved.
Single Bikers is not designed to sell visitor profile information or provide a local member database to third parties.
Retention
The target retention schedule is:
- Nginx access and error logs: daily rotation with 30 rotated files in the verified server configuration; an active incident or legal preservation requirement may require a controlled exception;
- anonymous affiliate-click events: 90 days;
- monthly aggregate performance reports: 24 months;
- contact messages: retained only while reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain a necessary record or meet a confirmed legal obligation.
Retention must be rechecked after a server rebuild, panel restoration or logging change.
Your choices and privacy rights
Privacy rights depend on where a person lives, which entity operates the site and the legal basis for a particular use of information. The site must not promise a right or response process that it cannot deliver.
Use contact@single-bikers.com to ask what contact information is held, request a supported correction or deletion, or raise a concern. Privacy rights depend on location and the applicable law. Visitors may also have the right to contact their local privacy regulator.
Official guidance emphasises that privacy notices should state who operates a service, what is collected, why it is used, who receives it and how long it is kept. See the UK Information Commissioner's Office guidance and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner overview.
Children
Single Bikers publishes adult dating guidance and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly provide member accounts or collect profiles from children. If a future feature could collect personal information, age scope and child-privacy obligations must be assessed before that feature is enabled.
Security
Reasonable technical controls are planned for HTTPS, restricted administration, minimal data collection and controlled outbound destinations. No website or transmission method can be represented as risk-free. A security incident affecting personal information must be assessed under the laws and reporting duties that apply to the confirmed publisher and visitors.
Changes to this policy
Update this policy when collection, vendors, contact methods, analytics, affiliate-link behaviour, retention or legal responsibility changes. A review date must reflect a material review rather than an automated date change.
Contact and release status
The verified privacy-contact method is contact@single-bikers.com. The project records an individual operator using the public site identity Single Bikers and a decision not to publish the legal name or postal address. Qualified legal review must decide whether that disclosure and contact method are sufficient or whether publication in a given market requires additional operator information. See the Contact page for appropriate request categories.
